A dynamic, new civil society and international development organisation, DEVRA is seeking to appoint an Executive Officer on an internship basis.

DEVRA is a new charitable organisation that provides technical assistance to community-based initiatives and NGOs working on civil society development, poverty reduction, healthcare, human rights, education and related social development projects in the developing world.

Members of DEVRA have advised multilateral and international organisations and development agencies including:

DEVRA's collective expertise includes: post-disaster reconstruction; urban management and local economic development; human rights, migration, refugees and asylum; urbanisation and globalisation; architecture, town planning and civil engineering (particularly water and sanitation); medicine (particularly paediatrics).

This internship is an exciting opportunity to gain important knowledge, experience and skills in the sector. Ideal for a postgraduate student, recent graduate or someone looking to change career.

Based from home with quarterly meetings in London, the part-time internship is unpaid but all reasonable expenses are covered. The internship may also include some travel.
