![]() Stephen Cohen has been a General Practitioner for last 32 years in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire. He was previously Registrar in Paediatrics, Amadhu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. He has also worked as part-time occupational health physician to Unilever for 21 years, and is a trainer in General Practice to the Eastern Deanery. He is currently GP adviser to the Health Service Ombudsman. Stephen joined UKJAID in 1998 and has been a member of JAD ever since, advising on medical projects and pharmaceutical assistance. His development interests include health-related projects, particularly in Africa. He has a range of project management experience including working with Permaculture, a South African based charity which helps destitute women grow nutritious vegetables for their families and a health and rural educational project for a village community in Nicaragua which aims to reduce rates of diarrhoeal diseases among school children. |
