Village School in Chalish District,  Nepal

D.E.V.R.A has worked, for more than five years, to support a village school in Chalish district and has advised and liaised with various other bodies to provide funds to help increase its capacity to accommodate up to 100 pupils.  It now benefits from 2 new classrooms, 2 new teachers, educational aids, play & sports materials, a pre-school class, and offers 4 years of primary education.   Thanks to the efforts of local partners, an agreement was reached with the Nepalese government in November 2006 to provide teachers.
